2017 A Great Year!
Onward to 2018!
Our first newsletter of 2018 allows us to look back on a
rewarding 2017 at Fab Lab Connect.
In a series of videos, we bring to life the voices of the communities we
serve: inspired principals, committed teachers and engaged students.
School Fab Lab / Makerspace stations and machines were implemented at
two all-girls high schools in Brooklyn, New York. After the successful
launch of the program at St. Joseph’s High School, as featured in a
special video report,
we spent a busy summer
building a new Makerspace at Fontbonne Hall Academy. We were excited
to complete the installation in time for the students to start the
school year exploring and learning the STEAM curriculum.
Last year the international Fab Lab conference Fab13 in Chile was one to remember. In 2018, we look forward to
Fab14 in France.
